Backstory

This was a puerile commentary on the unreliability of videoconference calls and their potential for comic misunderstandings and misinterpretations. I mean if just the right sequence of syllables and sounds are dropped from any given sentence, it can lead to a totally different interpretation, right?

Luckily no one ended up calling anyone else an asshole—at least not unintentionally—and no one got fired.

Our protagonist has a mouth! Also the grey text was a clever way of conveying dropped letters, I think.
