Acceptable Stand-up Footwear
Backstory
It was the height of summer, and at this time Patryk was riding to the office on his manly motorbike. If he was in the office well before the daily stand-up started he would attend wearing flip-flops. If he arrived in the office like 5 minutes beforehand, he would be wearing socks, having had the time to take off his motorcycle boots but not the socks underneath. And if he arrived at the stroke of 10am he would still be wearing his motorcycle boots, which looked weird.
I believe the “not to be worn in combination” refers to the day when he came in wearing motorcycle boots but no socks, which we all thought was gross.
Artist’s Notes
There’s some dodgy penmanship going on here (q.v. shadow on the sock), but the purity of form in the minimum of strokes is actually quite something. Also there’s serifs on the ‘c’s now.
